The 11 invited children received custom uniforms from Barcelona players before taking a commemorative photo during the team's evening training session in Yokohama.


Star players such as Lionel Messi and Xavi presented their special guests with Barcelona jerseys, each with their own names printed on the back.

"[Messi] was as cool as I thought he'd be," said 17-year-old Hikari Niizuma, who shook hands with the two-time Ballon d'Or winner.

"I don't think I can wash my hands again."

Barcelona will play Asian champions Al Sadd in the Club World Cup semifinal on Thursday night in Yokohama's Nissan Stadium.

Justinian F. Rweyemamu  (28 September 1942 – 30 March 1982) was  Tanzania ’s first major economics scholar. Considered by many as the outstanding representative of the post-independence African scholars, he was also a pan-Africanist, political strategist, and international civil servant. Early life and education Rweyemamu was born on 28 September 1942 in Katoma, a small village in the outskirts of  Bukoba  town located in  Kagera Region ,  Tanzania . In 1958 he joined St. Thomas More College Ihungo, a Catholic Secondary School in  Bukoba , and in 1961 graduated top of his class. He then went to the USA on a scholarship to pursue undergraduate education on the eve of his country’s independence from the British.
